Does Loopy do any sort of comping or takes
I’m curious if I can -set a loop, hit record, let it cycle the loop 4 or 5 times and then have an option to choose the best loop or even better, be able to piece together sections of each loop that I like.
Comments
The way to do that is to record into clips serially with the after record action set to stop so that the takes don’t play over each other.
You can do simple comping on the sequencer timeline.
Got it. Thanks so much.
@espiegel123, any pointers to existing projects/templates, URLs, or youtube vids that cover this territory in the way you recommend...just looking for a few specifics on the how/implementation side, I understand the concept
Thanks
I don’t have anything specific other than what I mentioned. It is pretty straightforward to set up clips to record one after another either using the sequencer or setting up a series of record actions.
