Hack: DIY iPad Piano
I put together a fun hack today and wanted to share it with you all. It's a DIY mechanical interface that gives you physical keys to press instead of directly tapping on the screen. It's a bit silly, but figured some of you may get a kick out of it. Enjoy
There's also step-by-step guide for how to make it here:

This is very smart but a bit novelty but brilliant idea though
Inspired lunacy! I love it Adam.
It was a fun side project to get my head out of code for a few hours. And I admit, I was rather surprised at how well it worked for such basic materials.
Could be a fun music/science project with kids since it involves thinking about mechanics and basic circuitry (capacitive touch).
Looks like a Kickstarter candidate!
Absolutely BRILLIANT! :-D Thanks for sharing.
Very clever. Thanks for sharing.
Love it Adam! The more I look at it, the more I perceive something gravitating around my conscious memory, but I can't grab it...
Thank you so much! I love DIY projects like this!
Awesome! I like it!
+1 at least. Neat stuff.
A mechanical interface for touch screens! If I had an iPad I'd go build one right now.
That is amazing. Love it so much. Thanks Adam. Genius as ever.
I suspect that in many cases it's easy to go the clothes peg route than try to connect up via midi .
Also, if you look closely you can see the new circular loop playhead indication around 0:55 into the video. That'll be in v1.3...
That's rad.
