Euler VS - visuals for Mac, iOS, Apple TV
iOS version has one preset, the rest is IAP. The Mac version is interesting, with MIDI control and Core Audio. I don’t know the price, I don’t have a Mac. When you have the Mac version, presets can be transferred to the iOS version.

Interesting. Love me some visuals!
I refuse to get my hopes up…
I’ve tried just about everything out there for audio reactive visuals and they ALL suck in their own unique ways… Unstable, can’t deal with large files, crap interfaces, crash at 90% of export, stuck using screen recording, crappy / expensive subscriptions, etc…
Why in F someone doesn’t just F’ing port a halfway decent milkdrop port to iOS is mind boggling to me…
The guy who make JamCam has a new app, so far desktop only. Arkestra is the name and it has some real potential but there's still ways to go. I had high hopes for Magic and bought it about two years ago which happens to be last time it got an update, just my luck.
Arkestra is fresh and Isak the dev is easy going and open for input.
In my experience Jam Cam sucks a$$. Complete crash fest. Spend a ton of time developing a “patch” press a controller button or delete an effect… boom. Crash… Never the same… and because there’s no auto save, all the work you did because you managed to get in a flow is, poof!, gone!
Thank god it was free to download and test… Stupidly overpriced one time purchase. Sub is “cheap” but it’s soooooo unstable and “raw” it should be free.
If anyone try’s this… Have you figured out if it’s possible to load an audio file for the audio reactivity?
** App is unstable as heck. Totally locks ups… Insane that a dev could release an app that within 10 minute of random use freakin’ locks up! Was there zero testing done?! **
Btw, I’m in the process of doing video “stuff” for some old tracks, which is why for the past few days I’ve been neck deep in trying to find a halfway decent, fairly easy to use tool to just create music videos for YouTube.
It’s unreal how universally requested and required a tool like this is when you look at the landscape of absolute crap that’s out there.
The closest is Staella but it’s unreliable… It’s got this insane screen recording mode where one you start it, the app locks down until it’s complete and then 9/10 times it crashes when it’s done and doesn’t even manage to poop out the file you just watched it make pretty pictures for half an hour…
That is really weird as almost all of my last videos where made through it and I very seldom had crashes. Agree the price policy is strange, better in that case to go with the sub as it's almost nothing. Only reason I took a break from it was it got a bit repetitive.
I see you next post about Staella. I never had a crash with that one and I used it quite a bit. I do not like the start to end thing but it works (for me). I'm on a M1 16gb ram, always latest iOS, for comparison.
