Template editing and creation on a Mac
Is there any way I can create or edit a template on my laptop (Mac) instead of doing it on my phone? I don't want to add actions or anything, just literally be able to add the loops, clips, etc "shapes", resize and move them about to then be exported to my phone as a file. Finding it a bit fiddly doing it on my phone all the time (I don't have an iPad either). Thanks.

No. There will be a Mac version at some point in the future. Not any time soon though.
Thanks. Thought that might be the case.
@Verbs_and_Nouns, there is a new feature on MacOS/iOS that is highly dependent on hardware and OS versions, but just wanted to mention it in case it might help you accomplish what you want, at least in some cases.
It is called iPhone Mirroring and is described here:

Obviously, only tangentially related, but may help you with pure UI/Layout/Design stuff possibly.
Good luck!
Thank you! I’ll give that a shot. I know with newer Macs you can install some iOS apps on them, but mine is far too old for that. Screen mirroring may work though.
FYI, iOS Loopy Pro cannot be installed on a Mac. The Mac version is separate and has a huge amount of Mac-specific code. It will also be compatible with some Intel processor based Macs.
Unfortunately my Mac is even too old for this. Oh well.
I got a nice 15.6" HDMI monitor for only $59 the other day. I'm tempted to get an Apple lightning to HDMI adapter to see if screen mirroring from my phone would work. That plus a Bluetooth mouse might be pretty cool for editing iPhone templates. Not needed because I have an iPad, but ... "inquiring minds need to know"!
I think I just need a cheap stylus instead of trying to use my fat fingers.
Hopefully the files will be interchangeable between the Mac and iPad versions?
Nah. Just get one of these.

Yes.
