Fader/Slider to select Count Out Quantisation?

Hello - I'm wondering if you can set up a variable control that can be used to select the count out quantisation for the recording of a specific clip, in order to determine a recording length (such as 11 bars) prior to recording? I can see that you can set up a single button to do this, but if a range is useful this would require a whole set of buttons, and would be less flexible as well.

If you have count-out set to master , you could set up a radio button group with the lengths to include and set up a slider to control the radio group (which could be hidden in another page…but you wouldn’t be able to easily see the length if you hide the radio buttons.

  • Great suggestion - the radio button group probably does the trick for what I need (I used 'Set Master Length' under Clock Settings), but I couldn't see how to do the second part - how do you set up the slider to control the radio group?
    TIA

Edit the slider and for ttt he s value change action, choose Trigger Widget and choose the radio button group as the target

Thanks - yes that's what I tried but for some reason wasn't working (Mac beta?) but now is so all good :)
I don't suppose there's a way to have text field dynamically change based on which radio button is selected? Or maybe responding to the fader? (the purpose being to display what the radio buttons are selecting) -
Edit: I'll add this as separate question
