    Works OK on my iOS 8.1 ipad and has the new notification system in place (red circle with number of notifications on menu/news instead of pop-ups. much better!)

    Funny, I was just about to delete the free version off my iPad since I never used it due to the annoying pop up ads. It does indeed look like they finally removed the pop up ads but I feel it's too little too late and I'm still likely to delete it since I have plenty of alternatives at this point.

    Wow i had gotten rid of sampletank to make room for others. I might have to juggle some apps to make room for a try again

    I've decided to keep Sampletank on all the time now, I deleted iLectric and iGrand instead, they are always there if I need them, So Sampletank complete now stands at a whopping 3gb

    Thanks for the heads up on size. I am not even sure I can free up 3 gb lol. But like you said I can remove some apps and always reload them if necessary , and am still considering an ipad air 2 with more storage once ios 8 gets all the bugs out. I did a few in app purchases but I know I did not get the strings the grid or the new sonic stuff I am waiting for it to download now to check on size.

    Looking forward to the new vids doug. I am trying to decide if I want the full version or just get the mobile sonic pack. Leaning towards Sonic but want to hear more of it.

    In Sampletank, there are packs you just unlock (for example, electric piano pack, synth lead pack, synth pad pack, etc.) and collections you actually download (Miroslav, SampleMoog and Sonik Synth). These three collections are more than 500 MB each. I have SampleMoog and Sonik Synth and the app takes 2.5 GB of storage.
