Floating World / #89

The trek continues. I’ve decided to speed it up a little by assembling a few “best of” collections. It’s interesting to think more about the order of tracks instead of trying to pump them out and just throw them in an album. It’s good to have a thousand pieces to choose from. Surely I can find fifty that pull the rabbit out of the hat.

I hope you’ll enjoy this.

  • I am not going to buy “best of” albums unless you call them:

“Now That’s What I Call Levy” - Volumes 1 to (the number required to reach 100)

I would buy a Box Set of the Top 10 on custom vinyl. (Safe bet considering the expense to
create the box set would be prohibitively expensive).

  • Mike, on Floating World the panning goes all to the right after 30 seconds and, it stays so, surely can't be intended?

Other than that, it's always nice to be reminded to listen to your music for a bit.

  • Thx @Pxlhg, fixed. Not sure how that happened.
@McD, I’d box your ears if I could. Time for you to start a new photography thread.

  • Beautiful sir 🙏

    Old threads never die.

  • I think For Ennio was my favorite. Nice one, Blondie.

  • Thanks for listening @Stuntman_mike and @Paulieworld. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Good to see you around an I'm definitely enjoying the album.

I read good thing about this company recently. The have very low prices for vinyls and cds.

I will try them soon when I release my album.

  • ‘Best of’ works nicely when you have such a large top notch back catalogue to choose from … although I think you could probably pick 10 tracks at random and they would work very nicely 😊
The value of things and For Ennio are my favourites 🙏

Agreed, @MrStochastic. Can never get enough Hiroshige, the great grandfather of comic books.
