  • @flo : you mentioned a little latency, do you find it more than Tonex?

Yes,but i don’t know if it is due to NAM XT or to the profiles.
That being said, the same profiles used in gigfastlite had less latency.
    And so what😉😉?
    I don’t know😉.

@flo great video. I have been using NAM outboard profiles for nearly a year now. Compressors , limiters etc. My final mixes sound so much better than using software plugins that I hardly use software plugins now and use NAMXT loader in all my mixes. @ArteraDSP thank you for NAMXT

  • Just curious, what hosts are you guys using NAMXT with? Or are you using it standalone?

  • thank you @flo for taking the time to make this recommendation for NAM. your words are very credible imo. i have not had as much luck with NAM profiles, perhaps because i'm only looking for clean sims these days. there are lots more high gain profiles at tone3000.com and i haven't found any clean ones with the kind of responsiveness you describe. do you happen to have links to 1 or 2 clean profiles you like? (tangentially, have you tried the DiBiQuadro amp sims on desktop? they seem significantly more articulate than other sims i've tried.) thanks for all your soulful playing. it inspires me.

It seems to me there were few profiles with great clean sounds.
I prefer edge of breakup cleans, but I’m sure there must be totally clean ones.
I will try to check this in my list of profiles.
    Thanks.

Has NamXT got an option to take mono input and act as a mono plugin even if host channel is stereo for hosts like AUM and Loopy Pro and others that always use stereo even for mono inputs?
