Caustic and Funkbox are damn good, get them.
Will do im really disappointed withDM1 it has the potential to be one of the best drum machine apps on the market but the dev cannot be bothered to fix it
Fingerlab is working on DM1. It's just taking longer than they anticipated.

That's good to know hopefully it gets fixed soon
I don't hold much hope for DM1

Those are all very good choices and currently all work with iOS8
@JohnnyGoodyear, superb!
What's up with DM1, is it an ios8 issue? Working fine for me on 7x
Dm1 has some weird unwanted distortion too all the sounds even though all fx are off also it only works well on one channel if you pan the sound only one of the channels sound right (I forget which one now but it's one of them) one channel sounds like the full sound and the other songs nfs like I clicking or snapping
What drum machine app would anyone suggest for replacing dm1? Heard good things about seekbeats but I'm not sure...Maybe suggest a handful and I'll check them out.
I used to use DM1 as my main drum machine. But since Gadget came out I find I can get everything from the drum samples in the London gadget and using the Tokyo drum synth.
Depends what type of drum sounds you want. If you want real sounding as opposed to drum machine / EDM drums then gadget would be no good.

Ah right, I'll have to check and see if mine does that, though my stuff tends to be distorted to jiggery anyway so I probably haven't noticed.

I love Seekbeats, it's not as immediate as DM1 though and takes a bit of setting up, but great for weird stuff. Like Matt I tend to use Gadget, though I'd really like to use iMPC Pro for drum patterns if it worked properly.
I was unimpressed with Drumjam - a surprise as Thumbjam is one of my favourite apps.
Oscilab has a simple but nice drum section, and I use Triqtraq for rhythm too.
Yeah, I've been using gadget as my primary drum machine on ios, can't get enough of that grainshift with London and Tokyo, haha. More after a dedicated drum machine to use with sector though, so I think seekbeats is my best bet.
Thumb jam might be interesting to sample into werkbench though, I quite liked some of the organic presets in dm1, so I might check it out
If I'm not in an all in one app (gadget/NS/BM...) I use funkbox or drum perfect.
