Sidechain / Multiple Inputs Support

Hi,
Just recently I had a support question whether Loopy Pro can be used with MagicFusion. Since this plugin is a Vocoder I need to be able to send a signal to its sidechain input. I tried, but there seems to be no way to do this in Loopy Pro? Am I missing something? Other DAWs (Cubasis, AUM, Logic Pro) can do this and it‘s a rather basic feature, so I think it ought to be possible?
Thank you!
Cheers,
Gustav

Loopy Pro does not yet handle hosting multi-in/out AUv3. Hopefully it will soon.

Fwiw, there are some vocoders that have an option to use l/r input channels as modulator and carrier and one (kq voice plugins) that uses a trick (a plugin in the bundle that can somehow send its input audio into the bundle’s main vocoder plugin)

  • Hopefully soon!
Thanks for the Info! I don’t really like the idea of implementing a hacky workaround because of a missing feature though… dear Loopy Pro devs: do it, please! 😉

  • There isn't a need to upvote. It is a top priority. We hoped to get it into 2.0 before the initial release, but it is looking like it will be in an update not long after release.

  • Oh I get it! That is good news! Thanks for the update :)

  • Yes, that‘s indeed great, thanks!
