Noob hardware/MIDI bewilderment
Hello all, I am getting started with iOS and loopy, I want to use it mostly to replace Aum for controlling and recording hardware, fx and live sound.
And particularly for the custom screen controller… this is something I have been trying to do with TouchOSC and ableton, but I don’t love either, wishing for something simpler and more intuitive, so I have high hopes for LP.
I am currently exploring delay patterns and LFO polyrhythms (see video)
I hope to set up midiLFOs into octachron into mididelay out to the mfb-522. And at some point, record the midi output.
And best of all I hope, a set of custom screen mutes for in octachron to perform with the 522, which only has tiny stiff volume knobs, no mutes.
I am struggling to set this up if anyone can recommend tutorials…
Also it occurs to me that for on the go, I can use a set of samples from the drum machine, when I can’t set it up, or trying stuff out on the pad. Can I do that with one-shots in LP or would a dedicated drum sample app be better?
Thank you to whomever feels to share wisdom.

@PLASMO : what is the first thing that you are having trouble with? I have found solving one issue at a time is more effective than trying to solve everything at once.
Thank you , there is some wisdom… finally got back into the studio to start on just getting octachron to seq the 522 and eventually found it was going thru a synth that was off so no MIDI…..!
Very excited, I have been trying to get this going for so long, next is making mute controls in lp.
Thank you for your patient support 😊
