start stop AUM with Launchkey mk3
Hi, I try to control AUM with the the play/stop buttons on my Novation Launchkey mk3, but it does not work. I switched on the "receive MMC" option in the AUM Midi Control section and routed the Launchkey to "Midi Control".
Routing the Launchkey to the Keyboard works. Also, the Launchkey's transports work in other apps (audiobus, korg electribe wave...)
What am I missing?

I can’t check right now but have you tried midi learn in AUM?
AUM Midi learn only maps midi cc, note, pitchbend etc. but not MMC. From my understanding MMC is a standard that should work out of the box without mapping (as it does with other apps).
Sounds like a bug. Contact the dev: @j_liljedahl
The manual makes it sound like it should work https://kymatica.com/aum/help#toc57
My bad, the launchkey does not send MMC but Midi transport messages. (And honestly: I wasn't even aware it's a difference
)
If you run one of those other apps, like Audiobus, and enable Link start/stop in it and AUM, then AUM will follow. If you use Audiobus, add at least a system output. It won’t output anything, but is needed to keep the app running in the background.
Have you tried using midi learn in AUM to learn them?
MIDI learn in AUM doesn't work for MIDI Clock transport messages, which is what's being sent.
I misunderstood. Fortunately, easily remedied with a couple of lines of streambyter.
Streambyter! Yeah, I actually forgot about that! Very good idea, thanks a lot!
