Anyone check out the new Sessions beta?

Open Planet just released a beta for their upcoming release of Sessions for iPad. So far it seems pretty cool. I really enjoy the always on recorder for grabbing the happy accidents:

Installed, messing about with it- the Scene transitions being seamless are a godsend for iOS live rigs- I love AUM but this seems like it might be a credible alternative for live use.

I wonder if cpu overhead is reduced when scenes within a session are idling (as in Loopy). I suppose I should duplicate one of my AUM programs with high cpu use to find out.

Mixbox isn't working within it, but give recent developments with IK Multimedia, perhaps that isn't surprising. All other AUV3 I have tested, work.

  • Had a go with this night, looking good!

Is there a manual? Took me ages to find out how to delete a track (hint - click on small symbol next to the instrument name)

Have a look at Camelot pro! I posted a new topic about this awesome app on this forum. it’s amazing – not only for live on stage.

  • Interesting!

  • Yea I wanted to but no iPhone, and iPad won’t go to 18, ahhhhh! Need a new iPad soon. You can get a pretty good deal on Amazon at the moment for the most recent regular iPad. Just an FYI.

  • This has been out half a year or more on desktop, but am I right there's still no manual?
