    Interested to see what comes out of this, since I'm using a Digitakt in my setup. Not sure how it would work yet and if I'd truly want to use it in my current setup, but interesting.

    I don’t understand why Elektron doesn’t just support Multitrack over USB like all the most recent Polyend Gear.

    I do this with the Tracker+ into AUM and it’s a dream.

    nice .. personally don’t use overbridge at all (my worklow is just to create patterns on devices and then play them live, record final mix, that’s it) - but it’s nice to see they are expanding to iOS, maybe one day they add also native Transfer app which would be much bigger thing for me:-)

    i believe this will be the case, i can’t see any other way how to get multiple audio streams into ipad than make it simply standard multiple channels class compliant device

    i believe this means access to multiple channels from sny standaed iOS app and MAYBE also AUv3 plugin which is integral part of overbridge on desktop

    Edit: just read it should be working with all overbridge enabled devices. That’s great.

    I hope this will available for DN 1/DT 1 and not only the new models.

    Yep, looks like multi i/o streaming on all OB enabled devices, and M1 as a minimum requirement on the iPad.
    So, no plug-in, and I assume there is still no way around single audio device / iPad iOS bottleneck in case of multiple connected devices or additional audio interface.

    I’ll need a new iPad, but this will be such a dream.

    If they release their Transfer app for iPad as well, then my day-to-day setup will be so nice and compact.

    Okay, so my friend is at Superbooth .. He asked them about this. So for now, the situation is that they have support for Digitone 2, Syntakt, and Analog Rhythm - the rest will be added to the release. Right now, it's very early alpha, and he didn't want to reveal when the release will be. All inputs and outputs will, of course, be globally available for each app (basically, it works by installing a custom audio driver into iOS). There will also be an AUV3 plugin.

    So it's absolutely perfect, but it will still take some time before it becomes available.

    This is awesome news. Being able to have a deeply-connected Analog Four+iPad setup would be really powerful. I'm interested in where this goes!

    Maybe Elektron will release a new piece of analog/hybrid gear that also makes this more tempting.

    that would be beautiful but i think we will never see new Octatrack. That was too unique spacetime event, an anomaly of this timeline.

    Developer who made it is not working for Elektron and main guy behind that idea isn’t there too.. Octatrack is that type of once per lifetime product.

    I think, that was Magnum Opus of Elektron and they will never return to that game, things are different nowadays..

    I wish I was wrong… :-(

    If the Syntakt had, say, 6 inputs, I might think about adding it as an interface solution. I'd replace my criminally underutilized Octatrack with that in a heartbeat. Without more inputs, I'm inclined to stick with my existing solution and hope that Battalion will fill the niche once it's in the wild.

    I have an OT on my desk. It serves as a transport for my modular. I lack the will and time to overcome that learning curve. Maybe when I retire.
