Question about editing midi within Neon Editor by 4Pockets

I'm exploring several solutions to be able to send midi chords to certain midi plugins that require the midi chords be sent just before the beat (ie: iBassist). Along with the other options I'm exploring, I figured I'd ask here: If I have the midi chords recorded on the beat, I'm wondering if there's an easy way within the Neon Editor by 4Pockets to import the midi, shift the midi 1/16th of a beat earlier and export the midi...I own Neon but haven't done much with it yet...Thanks

    Neon is an audio editor. It can't edit midi.

  • Just Chords supports sending chords ahead of the beat. The feature was added specifically to compensate for apps like iBassist that need to see the chord ahead of the beat.

    Helium is the 4 Pockets MIDI app. It also supports sending chords anticipating the beat. See the Chord Mode section in the Help manual.

  • @wim, I realize it's an audio editor, but there are some references on the web to it doing midi editing too and given how some features can be hard to find in certain UIs, I figured I'd ask and not assume. Thanks
    @GRiker, Thanks for the tips

    Are you perhaps thinking of the MIDI Sequencer called Neon ?

  • That is likely what some of the ambiguous references were referring to, yup
