WoodVerberator or AltiSpace 2!?
these seem to be best ir tools on iOS.
so question is...
WoodVerberator or AltiSpace !?
for long ambient ir's and experimental.
whats your experience with one, both
or mostly one vs the other...?!
I would pick just one...
thnx

If i recall correctly, AltiSpace truncates long IRs. Not sure about the other.
A couple of days ago AltiSpace had an update allowing for longer IRs.
I have barely used either of these since they came out. Just too many apps syndrome. But if memory serves, WoodVerberator has the edge if you are looking for more experimental, creative features. AltiSpace 2 does have a lot of impulse responses in it. You should really take a look at the manuals for both and see what features are important to you, tbh.
There's also Thafknar, if you have your own IRs and just need the algorithm.
@uncledave:
I have Thafknar and is usable but the interface is not that good
and it east cpu like crazy... I thought the other(s) are better...
Ah yeah, thafknar UI is really not great
I would be surprised if there are convolution AU where the CPU is significantly less than THAFKNAR with the same IRs. Convolution is cpu-intensive and becomes more intensive, the longer the IR.
Long IRS use a lot of CPU with any plugin I’ve ever encountered.
I don’t care for the Thafknar UI either. IMPULSation is comparable and comes with a decent set of IRs. Revolv from Klevgrand (my favorite) has loads of gorgeous, highly realistic reverb IRs but you can’t import your own.
If you’re open reverb apps that aren’t based on convolution, then Rob Jackson’s new SploshBox and Diffuse from Surreal Machines are worth considering for huge ambient and experimental reverbs.
