The Valley (Solo, Noire, Continua)

This is a music track that I improvised on two MIDI keyboards connected to Bitwig Studio on a desktop PC. There the MIDI was routed to Solo for the violin, cello, flute, oboe, and bassoon; Noire for the piano; and Continua for the background instrument.

After bringing the audio recording into Vegas Pro, I applied the Lurssen Mastering Console plug-in to the audio mix.

It's titled The Valley.

    I don't even know where to begin describing how beautiful this piece of music is so far. (I'm at the 5 min mark.) Got me feeling very emotional. It reminds me a little bit of parts from "Music for Airports", but with more clarity (if that even makes any sense) and sense of calm. Like a gentle lullaby.

    And the visuals are luscious. Each frame is a piece of Abstract art, but somehow the art just keeps evolving.

    I swear David, I never get tired listening to your works. They are so much more beautiful than my pieces, lol. That said, I dare not touch anything by IK Multimedia, so as tempted as I am to grab Lurssen Mastering Console, I most likely won't. I got Grand Finale 2 for those mastering purposes.
