👿 After a month and a half (or longer) of not producing any vocal music, I'm back with a vengeance! Really, all it took was someone who couldn't take "no" for an answer to cause me to make this song! Good god! 😬
The story is, I knew this person from some local Autism-based social events as an acquaintance, and in early April she sent me a friend request. I accepted it, thinking she wanted to be buddies. The questions started right away, and they were innocent enough at first, such as "do you remember me" and "will I see you at the next event". Then shit started ramping up with "will you hug me at the next event" and, even crazier, "would you call me your cowgirl". 😬
Then the questions became even more forward to the point I became uncomfortable, and I ended up blocking her. Honestly? I thought there was a possibility this was someone posing as her to try and phish my info/scam me out of money. Those who use Facebook know exactly what I'm talking about.
Then about 10 days ago, I saw her in person at this social event. She kept giving me evil stares just like this...
...and that proved to me that the person wasn't a scammer but actually her! That said, who is she to stare at me in such an evil fashion? As if she felt entitled to make me her boyfriend. So yeah, this song is basically me venting about the whole situation.
That said, I really need to catch up with the "Creations" section. I've definitely missed out on some good music. All the best, and enjoy.

Listening back to "Natalie", I'm not sure I'm too keen on how the vocals were placed in the mix. Then again, my strong suit are instrumentals, not vocal tracks. I don't know how in the fuck I pulled off the mix of "Personal Stripper" so well, but that was just sheer luck I'd reckon.
Anyways, the reason I bumped this thread is I wanted to announce some news. Now that I have a Ugee UT3 Android tablet as a sheet music reader, I also installed FL Studio Mobile on it with some favourite drum sample packs. I also discovered two IAP packs that must've been released in the last year or so which I initially missed, one including a prepared piano preset geared for more Avant-Garde music! So that's pretty sick.
Well, the news is, I plan to produce an EP on my UT3 Android tablet in FLSM. Not sure how to master it just yet. Cubasis is on Android, and technically I could use that, but it lacks an LuFS meter. FLSM though has its own built in LuFS meter in its Analyser, so I may go that route to be rather honest.
(I wonder if Lars and his team can include an LuFS meter in the internal plugins.)
