Microwave 1 patch banks
I love this synth, it sounds incredible. But the presets that come with it are a mixed bag. Some great, some not so great, and the browser—well, it’s not so great either.
I went through them all, as well as the patches linked here. I hacked and slashed, modified, modulated, organized, and added a few patches of my own. Here they are, sorted into two banks. Enjoy!

Thank you, but how to import?
Just unzip and put them in the Presets folder in the Microwave folder in the Files app.
If there is no Presets folder it may be because you haven't created any User presets yet.
Oh dope thanks!
Been diving into a handful of synths id collected over sales, and Microwave finally caught my ear over the past week
Excited to run thru these to get an even better idea of the sounds my ear apparently craves!
@PapaBPoppin it's a versatile synth but what I really like are the pads. If you have a mod wheel you can make some really cool sounds. My favs are probably Odissey and the Reso Mod Pad.
I usually add a little verb because the sound can be quite raw, but sometimes you want that raw sound and nothing does it better.
And when I find a preset I like it's great to scroll through wavetables and find new stuff. It's just a really approachable classic sound.
Thanks for these appreciated
Much appreciated.. thank you.. 🙏
Love it. Thank you @timfromtheborder !
Thanks for the great presets, they all sound really good, I really like the FX and Pads, very usable indeed.
I had to unzip and remove the two individual folder from the main folder before they would show in the User Bank.
I had to move everything to a single folder to get them to appear too, but nonetheless, great job and thank you. Especially loved ‘Lead - Mode 1’ and opening up the filter via the keyboard whilst playing.
These are terrific, @timfromtheborder
You are a scholar and a gentleman.
Holy balls, this is a great collection! Just quickly auditioning thru, I'm getting ideas on ideas!
Thanks for gifting us with this sweet collection!
Just to reiterate, most of these patches aren't my own creation! I don't want to take credit for that. I just organized them. Glad people are finding value in my efforts and hopefully it makes this awesome instrument easier to use.
We're giving you credit anyway.
lol. Seriously.
Same.
Oh! The file structure is limited to Single Folder Deep and at least one preset in there
So, from the zip, extract MICROWAVELAND1 and MICROWAVELAND2 (from the root MICROWAVELAND [no number] folder) into the Presets Folder and they show up as shown in photos as two folders under User
Bit of trial and error before I hit the sweet spot. Thought I was missing something til I realized it's just finicky
Useful knowledge for quick preset organization (which I started doing thru all this. No more ##'s of resaved 'favorites' all jumbled together!
Ok, still a lot jumbled... This'll take a bit of listening and folder juuggling until I'm happy 😅)
Not appearing in my downloads folder. Any clues?
@Kashi is it letting you save the file at all?
Well, I select "download" and then the pop-up window goes away...but the file doesn't appear to be anywhere on my ipad.
So no, I guess it's not
May sound silly but if a reboot doesn't help, try another browser
That'll simply help narrow down if it's an issue on their site or a hiccup in your software
(just a good trouble shooting tactic in general)
Yes, good call papa. I'll try Safari. Now you say that, I have a feeling that's what solved this issue last time
They Blofeld is the synth for you. It's a PAD dream.
