midi footswitch mapping

i build a midi controller. it has
7 foot switches. 4 of them i have mapped each to their own loop to record when tapped.
now….. i want to be able to erase a loop that i recorded immediately if i don’t like it.
also id like to be able to overdub over a loop i just recorded.
i have 3 footswitch left. what can I do ?

    This might be basic, I use an Undo widget on all templates (bigger and easier for me than the little button at the top), set to one foot button, if I'm feelin footsie

    Obviously it'll remove the last loop that's been fully recorded, but will also kill and clear a donut mid record. Allows for quick punch-in style retakes

    And then I'd use Wim's idea for each of the four buttons long presses, but use those for overdubbing each respective loop button you're already used to

    where do i setup the long presse feature. is this on ipad only. i’m not seeing it on iphone?

    Are you talking about logic or loopy?

    i was talking loopy pro. sorry i just realized i posted i. under
    logic. lol.
    i actually just found the add action and figured it out. so i think i am dialed in now. thanks

    If you midi learn, press and hold your footswitch and it will learn Hold (long-press)
