New Royksopp Album

Excellent! It's called The Inevitable End. If you haven't heard of them they are band from Norway that has made some of the best electronic music since 2001. The new album sounds like Melody AM.

  • It's actually just amazing.

  • They were here live over the summer, great show.

  • I didnt hear any apps, it all sounded so....analog. I do thank you for sharing this, the album was good, i detect a bit of a concept through out, nice exit songs.

  • Love these guys. I have Jr and Sr. This one sounds like the best yet. So...it's $14??? I know it has a lot of tracks, but wow! Really wish artists would make their music available for direct purchase at a lower cost. Might be a conflict with labels, though.

  • Make sure you check out their first album Melody AM if you haven't already. It's really good.

  • @Tarekith Where did you see them live this summer? I'll bet it was a great show.

  • Marymoor park near Seattle, they were touring with Robyn.

    Thanks for the heads up!
    I loooovvvee melody A.M.
One of my favourite mashups is from a krafty kuts set: Eple/Poppa Large

    Eple/PoppaLarge by Krafty Kuts

i used to bomb down big hills on my skateboard at ludicrous speeds with this track on repeat and the headphones blaring. Bliss :D

  • @ Busks That's a great remix! I've never heard it before. Thanks turning me onto it. :)

Lol I still remember hearing Eple on some Swedish talk-show. Was in the kitchen or something, heard this awesome beat, ran to the TV and stood there staring at these two Norweigan dudes called Royksopp (weird name even to me, dunno what it even means and I live in these parts) performing Eple (waaay back whenever it first was released). That track never really gets old.

I love the transition between So Easy and Eple on the album where they are on the phone talking about frequencies:

    (Phone noise)

    Hello?

    Yeah it's me

I wanna give you some good frequencies
    1710, 2.6, 2245...

    Yeah

    3032, 400

Four hundred? I'm coming right over.

    Do that.

I'll be there in two seconds.

    (Phone down)
