Drone on, MacDuff! Alan Watts says the drone in Indian music represents awareness, the current of the universe, etc. A somewhat more industrial version than @Paulieworld ’s Om.
Thanks my man and I will, my nickname in Sweden is Uffe (Ulf bent) so, MacDuffe it is (he he).
Organic. Scary and beautiful at the same time. Happy Drone Day!
Very cool. This would be a perfect canvas for some far out spoken word poetry. I’m hearing Captain Beefheart or Ken Nordine doing Word Jazz. He had a weekly radio program years ago and I got hooked on it.
Thanks for turning me on to Nordine. Found a bunch on YouTube. Rad stuff!!
Thanks for listening. I was considering some kind of voiceover but couldn't come up with anything already used. The word poetry stuff is interesting but if I would do that it has to be my own words and that's a completely other dimension - one I haven't entered, yet .. 😅
Here are a few things you might enjoy… if you haven’t already seen them…
An interview with the man, the legend.

I particularly like this one with Fred Astaire…

I would love to hear something in Svenska. It doesn’t have to make sense. It’s actually better if it doesn’t. Dad was born in Reykjavik and I grew up listening to Icelandic. I think they are somewhat similar. They have some really far out expressions such as…
Ég Kem Alveg Af Fjöllum - I come completely from the mountains. Translation… What the fuck are you talking about?
Áfram með smjörið - On with the butter. Translation… Go for it, man!
Blindur Er Bóklaus Maður - Blind is a bookless man. Translation… You big dummy.
Ég Mun Finna Þig Í Fjöru - I will find you on a beach! If anybody says that to you, be afraid! I wrote a song with that title a few years ago.
I would love to hear some rap in a foreign language. Just go for it. On with the butter!
It's a good idea. I think about it. For the comparison; Icelandic has gone it's own way, OR, Norwegian and Swedish (we understand each other, fairly good) has taken the road of modernisation and Icelandic kept the old ways (more likely).
What the fuck happen to Danish is an enigma (really!) no linguist can figure out.
