Quick and dirty Loopy Pro questions

Is it not possible to create a widget that targets what the loop region of a loop is?

As a LP-Pro noob I was able to make widgets that could adjust clip speed, playback direction, and pitch, but I couldn´t find anything that allowed adjusting the start and end handles you see when you open the detailed waveform of a clip.

Trying to see if I can make a Circa-like canvas in LP. As an alternative to widget control of loop region, one could have the detailed waveform open and adjust there. That is less than ideal when wanting to play with 6 loops at the same time.

The start/stop handles aren’t midi controllable. There is a clip slicer widget that lets you trigger slices.

There is also an action “adjust playhead” that moves the playhead and can be used to determine the play position.

This project on the Discord makes use of Adjust playhead and might give you some ideas: https://discord.com/channels/922977925182132245/1290472460235440213

  • Sounds like the slicer widget is up next, I hadn´t come to that yet. Thanks. I did use the Adjust playhead widget control to do scrubbing, that will be good for positioning and experimental sound design.
