Of course you can also generate a cult around a body of facts and defend it as just a community. It becomes a cult when it starts to filter facts that work for the cult’s premise like libertarians or any political POV that defends itself against logical attacks from foreign perspectives.

The democrats have socialists and LGTBQ under a big tent. Trump only won by 1.5% and it’s possible Murdock and Musk gave him that boost or Biden just fucked us all by not passing the baton as I expected. A real democratic primary like Biden’s 2020 run probably would have blocked Trump in 2024 again.

The USA has been governed by NeoLibs and NeoCons as they are now known, but heading to a Feudal Technocracy along with the EU, which will consume it’s offspring, with it’s voracious appetite for wealth and power, then the great cataclysm of West vs East, the fall of humanity. Then the hope that at long last humanity turns to wisdom above intellect. From adolescence to adulthood.
Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Workman’s Comp, public schools, workplace protections… all hard won
examples of real enduring power that to this day have been hard to reduce or eliminate. The big news
in the “Big Beautiful Bill” is that those programs are being attacked and diminished in power or scope.
So, don’t think we don’t have socialists. Anyone that has benefitted from these entitlement programs is
a socialist. Maybe not the “socialist” on the Bernie end of the spectrum but certainly not small government,
libertarians that support this new dictator and his “tear it all down” and return the money to the 1%.
