  • How are you liking this new Ableton Move device? It’s standalone right? Do you need to have a computer
to use it or does it comes with all the sounds or import from a Wi-Fi connection to the cloud?

It's sort of like a dedicated hardware version of Ableton Note and it integrates with Ableton Live and Ableton Note. There are a ton of built in sounds. Like Note, Move contains cut down versions of native Ableton Live plugins so that when you move a set from Move to Live all sounds and automation are preserved.

Love it! Yeah, it’s standalone, no computer needed, lots of sounds already included. In fact, you can just turn it on and immediately start making music, since it’s battery powered and has speakers. Workflow is so intuitive and fast it feels like cheating.

  • Sorry to jump in on your thread @kyrillik. I just got excited when I saw ableton move. 🙂. Nice tune by the way.

No problem whatsoever! I just got Ableton Move, so it’s also all I want to talk about :D

  • Glad to hear you like it. I haven’t picked one up yet but am learning all I can about it. 🙂
