Compact Sound Card with ADAT for iPad
Hi! I'm looking for a good sound interface for my iPad. Criteria:
- 4 analog inputs and outputs (but this is not so important, may be 2, may be more than 4)
- ADAT input & output
- All inputs and outputs works on iPad
- control either from the sound card or from the software on iPad or memorizing the settings made on the computer (if this is the only option for configuring the interface)
- Compact (not rack unit).
I know that Babyface Pro and Audiofuse is best candidates. But maybe there's something cheaper.
Comments
ADAT is super rare on cheap interfaces, I managed to find a second hand audiofuse half price, it was the best option I could find.
Motu Ultralite mk5?
+1 for that interface. The software for ipad (cuemix) to control the interface is good
If I'm not mistaken, I saw your comment on the miniDSP forum. ))
Does the card have independent routing (via AUM or Drambo)? Can I output the monitor signal to channel 1 and 2, send to fx to outputs 3 and 4, and then set 2x stereo-return (i use Eventide H90) for 1-2 and 3-4 inputs?
