Low-friction way to record and export loops in AUM?
I want to record loops (both live and sequenced) from AUM to import into arrangements (eg Ableton, BAM, Blocswave).
I know i can record in AUM but I’ve always found it clunky doing it via audioshare. Loopy pro obviously can store loops but its still extra steps.
I’m looking for something like, hitting record in AUM and the loops get stored in a handy loop bank accessible via Files, ideally with bpm in the file name. Or even better something thats constantly listening and i can do retrospective capture (I also know this is somehow possible in Loopy but i never go the hang of it). Really looking for something stupid and simple (like me )

HI, not sure it adds/helps much but AUM automatically adds the bpm as a suffix and you don’t need audioshare to save to files. You can do it straight from AUM.
Multitrack Recorder Plug-in by 4pockets sounds like what you’re looking for. Like most of Paul’s apps, it’s loaded to the brim with other features too. I suggest watching his tutorials as a lot of it is hidden in menus
I tried a lot of options and it's kinda difficult, really. Now I'm trying with Loopy Pro in the Master, if not, u can upgrade and have individual inputs to records directly. Then export from Loopy Pro to Files or Mac
One method: Send your audio to a bus in AUM, set that bus as an input and Koala as an effect under it, you can record to a pad, trim as needed, and export that pad as your loop.
Thanks for the suggestions, I might try the 4pockets app. I've tried a few of the other suggestions like feed it into Koala, but I guess what I'm looking for is something very simple with few steps in between but it doesn't seem to exist. Unless someone can enlighten me that what I'd like to do is not a good idea?
4pockets Neon. set bar length. record in. press a few buttons. loop region out. Also features drag n drop of audio.
