Track muting
I have dedicated buttons to mute and unmute tracks. The actions are:
1 mute track X, the color, immediate,
2 mute track X, the bus, immediate after the last
3 unmute track X, the color, immediate, with next trigger
4 unmute track X, the bus, immediate after last.
With this button, I can comfortably activate and deactivate a track. And that works fine. There is a minor question; Only when I open up a project and tap on that button, nothing happens first. I have to tap a second time until it reacts. What am I missing?
Comments
Have you checked to make sure your project has finished loading? Without more information, it is hard to speculate. Can you post screenshots of the button actions and details?
I come back to this one, although it is only a trifle
I am actually muting and unmuting the instrument input and the respective bus at the same time.
But maybe it would be good to mute the instrument input only to avoid feedback and to leave the bus as it is or have a second button for that … ?
@Zsolt : if the input is muted, i don’t see a benefit to also turning the send off unless you still want it off when you unmute the input. Can you say more about what you want to accomplish?
That’s right, but either way I only was curious why I have to tap twice when I open up the project. Other than that, it works great.
Can you post a screen recording? Open the mixer before tapping the button so that we can see the mixer state.

When I open up a project and use the mute/unmute buttons, the very first tap doesn’t have any effect.
In your video, your mixer starts out muted. Your widget’s first action is MUTE. Since the channel is already muted, that press mutes an already muted channel.
Yeah, that was the obvious …. depending on the state it was saved
Thank you and sorry for bothering
