New Member Saying Hi
Hiya all - my name is Bry from Cardiff in South Wales UK. Thanks for letting me join this Forum. My brother who lives in the States has just pointed me at this wicked tool and I have to say its pretty amazing.
Only thing is, I've got a Spark 2 and and a Control X footswitch and I can't get it to work with Loopy Pro. Just wondered if anyone else has tried it and got further than I have.
Best Regards
Bry

Welcome!
Welcome and don’t hesitate to share your work here
Hey welcome to the forum! 🙌
Welcome to the forum. Regarding your connection issue to Loopy Pro, you may get a better response if you post your question again in the “Loopy Pro” Category. That’s actively monitored by some very helpful people on here.
Perhaps give a bit more specific description about how you’re trying to connect, and what iPad you’re using etc might get you some help. Good luck.
P.S. Have you tried searching on YouTube for helpful videos?
Welcome to the forum! 😊
Get on in here, brother!
Welcome aboard the USS Loopy Pro!
I'm PvtBPoppin, and as the newest recruit, it's your job to scrub the loop deck!
Welcome to the forums! Great place, and generally very helpful.
Welcome @Bry_viz, it's great to have you here.
I suggest opening a new thread under the Loopy Pro category with a title specific to the problem of the pedals. I'm sure you'll get it resolved, but this intro post title might not be specific enough to get the attention of those who can help.
I'm from Cardiff to but moved away quite some time ago. Nice place and used to play many gigs at the chapter arts centre back in the early 90s.
Your in a good place and the folks here are a real wealth of knowledge.
Hi Bry 👋 welcome to this most awesome place..
So we’re not doing the “initiation” to new members any longer? What happened to tradition?
hello welcome. feel free to ask questions, if you get stuck on anything. people here are always willing to share advice
Nah… Last new guy called the cops on us.
Welcome @Bry_viz
No wonder he called the cops, what you did to him was pretty wicked, Edward. Can he walk now ?
Welcome to the jungle @Bry_viz
I was wondering who would be the first person to go down that alley, so to speak 😂
I had to think for a second what wicked tool you’re talking about then remembered the title of this forum 😄
Welcome!
Hello, Hola, Bienvenido, Cheers!
Hi Bry
I’m Chris from New York City. Welcome and thanks for joining us! I agree Loopy Pro is such an amazing tool, and this forum is also such an incredible resource for information and how to guides. There is literally nowhere else on the Internet that you can find better anecdotal firsthand knowledge on the most nuanced aspects of iOS and iPad music production. It is really an honor and a privilege to be a part of this website and I really wanna also thank @Michael the owner and maker of loopy Pro and this forum otherwise we would not be here. His original forum, audiobus forum or ABF , led the way for the entire community of both dev and users and for that I’ll also be indebted to his contributions , generosity and his benevolence .
I’m sorry I cannot help with that particular issue but that is cool combination….have you tried the Loopy Pro discord ? It has amazing Info and quick replies ready to help with live troubleshooting ??
What kind of music do you make yourself and can you share some with us ??
Take it easy
Chris

Hey all - many thanks for all the comments and suggestions very much appreciated. I'm an old rocker (just retired - brill heh heh) mainly influenced by Thin Lizzy, Rush, Judas Priest, UFO, Led Zep, Boston etc etc. I've been playing guitar for many years but tbh not improved much since I was about 16 - I know bad eh. However, recently I just signed up with Guitar Mastery Method, brought meself a new Mooer GTRS900 geetar and a Spark 2 & control x. Now I've got my mojo back and really enjoying meself again. Then my brother put me onto this loopy pro and I'm loving it. I can't believe there's this much power on a £30 app - it's unreal...........I've also started using Moises which is also awesome and changed my levels of enjoyment beyond.....I aint good enough to post yet :-) but I will when I've got something half decent I can share. To get around my Spark controlling Loopy Pro, I'm just gonna fork out on midi bluetooth footswitch....jsut found one in the UK for a tenner so will keep blasting away. Best Wishes to you all and thanks again - Bry
