7III Tap 1.3 released!

I have just released Tap 1.3 which comes with the feature everyone wanted: Landscape support for iPad!
Tap is a controller for Ableton Live (the Push I always dreamed about) on iPad and iPhone.
Here's a short video about the new things in Tap 1.3:

All the things we added:

  • Landscape mode for iPad!
  • Device Chains will get opened and displayed in full in the Devices Bar
  • You can now change velocity of notes in the Step Sequencers
  • New Setting to have octave / drum page up and down buttons
  • Ability to select a drum pad via duplicate button
  • Now displaying notes in pads
  • Many performance improvements

    Great work, Nils. Glad I could help you a while ago with the Windows version. The iPad landscpae version is very good! A recommandation for Ableton Live users.

    hello mister developer. Can you work with audio clips with this app? Insert them into a track after browsing, warp them etc?

    Come on guys, read the description, but here is an important part that should answer both of you.

    Important: Requires Ableton Live and custom MIDI Control Script (available at project7iii.com/tap) for full functionality. Does not help you finish tracks or make your music sound less horrible. Ableton Live is a trademark of Ableton AG, registered in the United States and other countries. This app is a third-party tool and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Ableton.

    So, no other daw (if you don't know how to alter that script maybe). And clearly no audio support, well Ableton supports audio.
