I put up a vid on Mozaic on Friday btw (where I completely forgot to mention the new subfolders system, even though I'm so glad that was added haha):
Should probably update title @McD
New price of Moziac is $1.99 per @brambos 😎

An excellent place to more quickly scripts that are on patchstorage.com is: https://abwiki.loopypro.com/doku.php?id=mozaic_scripts_list.
(I'm not positive it's still being maintained. @_ki created and maintained the page before the forum name change. Personally I tried to add my newer scripts, but haven't been able to authenticate since the change, so I'm not sure if @_ki can or not?)
Anyway, it's well organized and far easier to navigate than the PatchStorage listing for finding things.
That's beautiful and pretty much how one would want to organise things (well, I would), wish you could download from these selectors (blue). As you say though, it's not been maintained since April - 2023 so, that's a lot of backlog.

I show March 2024, but yes, lots more missing than I thought.
Nvm
Maybe i find the time to update that list.
The last time checked it after the forum change there were some plugins missing that i used for indentation and unification of the tables (IIRC the wrap plugin) - so everything looked wiered. I informed Michael, but at that time he couldn‘t change stuff since the wiki base software changed and the content was migrated)
Without the WRAP for formatting tricks, the colums had different width for each table and it was very hard to read on iphone or ipad i used for testing because they were wider than the screen showing scrollbars
ok, i just had a peek and the formatting seems corrct (yay, thanks a lot for fixing).
So now its only a matter of free time to update the content. „Back in the old days“ i was able to add about 10-15 entries per hour. Max two or three at a time to always check if the formatting is broken. (which is easy if one of the pipe symbols is missing etc)
My last update attempt was march 2024, but i didn‘t manage to add all the missing scripts accumulated to that time .
.
Now i will start a new approach by downloading the patchstorage list and descriptions with python, change every line to correct formatting used in my list and then i only would have to update the description line and insert it into the correct section.
So it‘s more of a coding and fun thing to work on (and not stupid manual labor copying the names and urls etc. Maybe i‘ll crosscheck with the existing wiki list (also done with the same python script…) so that i only get a list of the entries missing in the wiki
I wouldn't mind taking over maintenance, but currently am unable to authenticate to be able to update. I don't want to bother Michael or Edward about this right now as their hands are full getting ready for Loopy Pro 2.0 release. But maybe after if you like.
Just checked, i‘m able to login and would like to try the python assisted update approach. If it works, i will share the script with you (probably using pythonista outputting to a textfile) as i know you also have python experience
(Don‘t expect code as nice as my mozaic scripts, it‘ll be more quick and dirty using beautiful soup for html parsing). If we the both have the python script and knowledge on how to update the wiki list with the generated text output, its more likely that the work on that list is continued
Your messiest code is cleaner than my absolute best. 😂
Just noticed a very wierd thing. I am in fact logged-in in the wiki, i can edit other pages that i know i created.
But i can not edit the mozaic scripts list page, even though i created it in 2020 according to the page history.
When pressing the edit icon i only get a page that shows the wiki source listing and above that i get the following message „ This page is read only. You can view the source, but not change it. Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong.“ @Michael Mabe editing was blocked ?
(For developing my python update-helper script, it‘s good enough to be able to retrieve the current lists wiki source… so i can at least start working on that script after next weekend when i have some holidays)
@_ki, I think @espiegel123 might have had some involvement in bridging the legacy Audiobus (Doku) wiki and the new Loopy Pro (MediaWiki) wiki. He might be able to help, though with all that's going on right now leading up to the Loopy Pro 2.0 release in a few days, I'm not sure it'll get attention right away.
If I remember right, I think I ran into this page lock thing in my own DokuWiki and it was easy to resolve. But that's just a vague memory.
Unfortunately, I don't know how dokuwiki connects accounts. I just checked the accessed settings and anyone logged in should be able to edit all the wiki pages.
Something about the Dokuwiki permissions seem not to be working right, but it is a mystery to me how to fix it -- and I don't have the bandwidth (and would need some of Michael's time) to figure it out
I get the same error about not having permission! And I am logged in as an admin. There is probably some server-side permissions that we didn't set right when migrating the wiki's location.
It might be as simple as going to the
data/locks
folder and removing any files that exist there, if you have server access to do that. In my install the folder is in/var/www/html/data/locks
@espiegel123 No pressure - better concentrate on the Loopy Pro 2.0 release.
It will take some time to develop the python „what patchstorage mozaic script is missing in the audiobus wiki list“ script anyways.
Just checked, i now can edit the page. Nevertheless, i will need some time to develop the script
@brambos well played! Making it so accessible raises its value exponentially imo.
Hope to see the script catalog updating with the renewed focus. @_ki bro, your scripts are great. Respect.
