Audiobus updated to version 2.1.8
Not a lot to go on - "Assorted bug fixes".
Time to kick the tires.

Yeah. I would love to know how this is getting around. What's different besides the bug on iOS7 mentioned in the bugs page.
Obviously this update "introduces a brand new interface and a number of significant new features." ;-)
I updated but didn't notice any difference on 7.1.2 - same ongoing issues still obtain :-/
I did an A/B test on two identical iPad mini originals - both using 7.1.2 - one of which has up-to-date everything including AB, (and which I'm keeping up-to-date in order to see when things improve), the other of which has pre-AB SDK 2.1 apps and AB 2.1.4 and is one of the iPads I currently use in my production setup and is stable.
The up-to-date one is not usable (bad crackling) with various combinations of apps that work fine together on the non-updated one. Was hoping 2.1.8 might have fixed a few things like that O.o
To prove that it wasn't anything to do with the hardware as someone suggested to me elsewhere - (BTW - I used the updated iPad as my workhorse mobile iPad (vs. ones that sit in my desktop rig permanently) before I began updating apps and it was functioning just fine) - I removed the recent AB and the apps I used for the test from the up-to-date one, and reverted them to the same as on the other iPad mini original, and it all works just fine again.
Only think I noticed is that many of my icons dissappeared, then appeared again - only at first use...
Managed a 30min session yesterday without any crashes.
