multiple loop regions in sequencer

I'm trying to put two permanent loop regions in a sequence. I don't want to enter each one on the fly. One is no problem. Hit the loop symbol on the bottom right in the sequencer and it's good. But when I want to put another region in and I hit the loop symbol, the first loop region disappears.
Anyone know how to do that? Maybe not possible.

    There is only one region possible at this time.

    There is only one time selection region possible. Can you explain what you are trying to achieve? There are actions you can probably use with the timeline to achieve what you want.
