Automation of FX (Transit) with new midi features
Was just posting this question and came up with a work around, thought it might help someone if you run into the same thing or if you have a better idea let me know! Thanks.
Im having a problem with the midi automation feature, Ive got it all set up so I can automate the effects app named Transit. Im using a dial to control it but I tried with an xy pad too.. When I start the recording it doesnt register any data but i want it to record that im set to a value of 0 it doesnt send a midi message so it doesnt record the automation until i make a movement. so if i want the effect to fade in and then cut off at the end it doesnt cut off when the track loops back around, it just stays at whatever the last midi message value it received was. It just occurred to me as im writing this that i can set the dial to send a midi message value 0 on release which seems to work for my purposes if i set the track to overdub so i can get that 0 data at the begining of the automation.... idk if this is right but it works.
