Til I Die (Beach Boys cover)
Brian Wilson was my hero, and when he passed last month it hurt real bad. Me and the rest of the band decided to record a covers album and this is the first single (the original version was on the Beach Boys’ 1971 album Surf’s Up).
I used the SX1000 and Elastic OSC, along with Speldosa and RES 09
Hope you all like it…the follow up will be a vocal track (a cover of their 1968 song Be Here in the Morning) btw

I was honestly never a huge fan, as the Beach Boys were my mother’s generation (I’m 55)
Sadly, it took his passing, and all of the subsequent tributes, like this one I saw on TV where they talked about the story of how he wrote God only knows about his brother, that stabbed me right in the feels. He was definitely a brilliant songwriter. A dying breed.
