LP2: row group toggle auto triggering

Same basic effort: create Ableton-esque clip launch thingy.

This time I'm using LP as a Midi app in AUM. I've set it to use AUM's clock.
Simplified setup... two rows, two columns. The two columns on each row are a group, so we have two groups. At the side, a radio button pair, set to Play/Stop each group.

I start the clock, hit a clip to start recording... and the radio button starts flashing as if it's being triggered by the beat clock. This seems strange.

Tried to add the screen video here, but it's a disallowed format?

Post your recording to YouTube or similar and post a link .

  • Ah. Expected behavior. Ok.
Followup: is there any way to arm multiple clip recordings, so that when you hit the transport (in Aum in this context, but in general I suppose), they all start recording immediately?

Turn on simultaneous recording. If you also turn on wait for transport, you can pre-arm them and they will start recording when the transport starts. You can use widgets, touch and midi bindings, too.

  • I'm a doofus. I kept looking for a setting like that, and only now that you've pointed out it does actually exist, I've found it.
