A perfect golden circle - another lo-fi Ambient loop thing.

As usual all done inside Koala sampler. Video is taken from a film about crop circles in Wiltshire in the early 90s, very near my old stomping ground.

Honestly, koala sampler is an amazing instrument for this kind of music, I spend time and money trying to better it, but it's just impossible. I've even lost all GAS/AAS for portatron or even the torso S4 or that bedtime TAPE thing.

    I really enjoyed this. I have always been fascinated with crop circles. I have seen the documentaries showing “how it was done” by a couple guys with boards and ropes. That might explain the simple shapes, but definitely not the highly complex, repeating fractal patterns of the others. I just can’t imagine how a couple guys did these without being noticed by the neighbors. If it was a hoax, I’m sure somebody would have said something to make themselves instantly famous. “Local farmer finally disproves crop circle mystery!”. I like how they show the dogs and cattle wandering about. I think they saw something, but they will never tell. The music goes perfectly with the images. Very cool and nicely done.

    I’m a fan of the temperature that you created with these. Sounds weird, but I don’t know how else to describe it.

    I also noticed that you’ve learned how to tame them feedbacks or distortion really well, compared to a few years ago.

    Thank you!!! I’m always pulled back to those places, they are quite magical, for whatever reason. Living in Italy, there’s nothing quite the same, a kind of dark ( as in unknown) history of Britain, it’s an odd place underneath it all! I do miss that!

    Thank you! And yeah, if only the cows could talk! I think that there’s definitely something to it, the super complex ones that happened overnight… maybe some atmospheric occurrences, or maybe something more woo? This world is weirder than we give credit!
