Need help with sound design - making zombie white noise sound renders
No joke, I love falling asleep to videos of zombie white noise. Any tips on recreating a soundscape that spatially blends the soothing sound of rain on a car roof, light metallic thunks, muffled sirens, and growls of the living dead?
My idea is to set up the rain sound effects. I’m trying to think of apps that do this. Dronelab 2 exists but there are probably better choices. Open to suggestions.
Next find samples of zombie noises and trigger them periodically. That or create my own samples with some effects - open to suggestions on plugins. Assign different zombie sounds to pads that are triggered by MIDI.
Then get the thumping noises. Assign it to trigger with different zombie noise pads and pan some left and right for spacial effects.
Finally add some kind of reverb and eq accordingly. Add a radio playing some tunes to make it musical if desired.
I think the spatial effects might be trickiest or have clever solutions via niche plugins.
