    Those PBS sessions with Alan Watts and Joseph Campbell really helped me as a young man seeking to understand
    the forces that drive people.

    I polished those lessons off with the literary wisdom of Kurt Vonnegut, Tolkien, Carlos Castenada (which I eventually learned
    was a total fraud), and John Le Carrie to name a few.
