AU instrument mute / unmute timed to start of measure?

My AU instrument is synched to the master clock, with a button assigned to mute / unmute it. But the response is immediate, while I’d like it to wait for the start of the next bar. Is there a setting for this?

    If you tap to the left of an action there is a fot for setting the action timing which can quantize the action to a time interval or delay it.

    I can see leaving tips in the wiki, but wouldn't available settings be better placed in the manual? (If it's there, I didn't see it....)
