May be the answer for iTunes/ iFlash Drive

Comments

  • Seems like any old flash drive with the addition of an iOS app. Not sure I get it. With some fairly obvious, er, non-truths in the iTunes column of the comparison chart, I'm not sure I trust it either.

  • Got all excited, then found the price. 64 gb $200, 128gb, $380. Ouch.

  • It seems like one of those devices that is stuck in its own app, at least thats the way it is advertised. but who knows it might be able to work with GoodReader or FileBrowser so you can pull in files then use "Open In" to get things where you need them.

I'm really happy with the Hootoo Nano, which creates its own wifi and you add your own storage (USB or SD card)

  • The file formats supported don't cover everything that a musician would need: ie Zip, RAR, etc. It looks like we wouldn't be able to transfer anything other than what already is transferable....

  • Our stick with my kingston MobileLite Wireless and 1gb hard drive and Files Connect App for now I thing a lot cheaper option.

  • I find it easy enough to use Box or Dropbox to transfer stuff external to the iPad

  • I'm pretty surprised wired file transfer is allowed outside iTunes. Wireless, yes.

Can you transfer samples to and from the iPad with that?
