toneshaper app + Vancouver Sampler (gadget) gr8 sound design possibilities
Some nice fella mentioned Toneshaper as an app for making single cycle waveforms and so I tried it and threw them into Vancouver and the sound design possibilities were pretty impressive.
I'm really loving the value of Toneshaper and Eleven Labs (text to Audio) for sound design, so you might also...
With eleven labs I like to emulate Alice In Chains tones like ayeayeayeayeaye... or arrrrrrgh and it makes some really interesting tones.
Lastly, one of my favorite percussion tops samples came from recording a handful of forks clanking into one another as I was putting them away in the silverware pantry. Nice clean, shimmering clanks.
