Loopy Pro Newbie
This is probably a big ask but…… I am a singer and guitarist playing in bands doing classic rock and I have been studying the Loopy Pro software. I was wondering if there’s anybody in the Toronto , Canada GTA or York region area that uses this software that I could maybe meet with just to ask some questions because I’m watching lots of videos and it’s still totally not making sense with the equipment I’m using. It would be much appreciated let me know

I am not a Loopy Pro user but if you describe what you want to do people can help you. Make video to show you.
Maybe Loopy is not the best software for what you are trying to do.
Update the thread tittle with a better description of what you want will attract more people to answer you.
Hi Randy,
What is the first thing that you want to know how to do that you don't know how? I have found that when someone feels overwhelmed by the possibilities, it is best to take things one at a time -- oftentimes things start to click whereas trying to figure out everything at once can feel overwhelming.
Can you describe the overall workflow you want? Have you checked out the Max Yar and Loop With Jack video series? Are there Loopy Pro performance videos on YouTube that are along the lines of what you are after?
I just noticed your post now. I am so intrigued by this software and so impressed with all the templates people have done. I have so many ideas how I want to implement this software with my vocals and guitar work but it is really challenging to figure out how all these sample templates work and how to make my own templates. Hopefully it will start making sense little by little.
If you are having trouble understanding how templates work, start with a simple one and ask questions.
Have you explored each of the projects in the tutorial folder?
What I did was to build little by little. Start small. I think the first thing I did was to make huge mute buttons quantized to the master clock, as I mainly use Loopy more as a mixer interface than a looper. Soon enough, it will all make sense.
Another thing that works pretty well is feeding an LLM Loopys manual. It surprises how often the answers are right. Taught me a few cool things I didn't think about.
