  • That looks fun 🤘

  • Hi guys, while I can't put a date on it, as it requires a little UI rejig to get it all to fit on a smaller screen, iOS is definitely coming soon!

Thanks for the mention @ninobeatz

  • Actually - the other thing we were planning was to add a built in sound player so the standalone app would have some sounds in it. This would require a lot more work, as we'd also want to allow users to set up a full "band" as you can do with multiple instances of the plugin.

So the easiest way to get it to iOS would be without a standalone version, AUv3 only.

    🤝

  • AUv3 only, and without internal sounds is perfectly fine for me.

Because I know Tonebank a bit, it is clear to me that the iOS version will change the way I work in iOS. In the meantime I can already search and create some percussive sounds with different synths, to be ready when Tonebank appears in the App Store.

Great! Note that Tonebank is not only good with percussive sounds. In Melody mode, it can also work well with lead / sustained sounds.

ha, that’s exactly the part that I haven’t tested yet. I used Tonebank instances only for rhythm, percussion, to play the melody manually on top. And indeed does the melody tab work well. Excellent video by the way. People are invited to visit the home page of Node Audio, there are a couple of videos explaining every aspect of Tonebank.

Off topic, the reason why I couldn’t test Tonebank further is that I was away from the studio and PC. For me is summertime = tipi time, with few MIDI controllers and iPad. 100% solar powered. Including photo and cinema cameras and accessories. All solar powered.

  • Love to give this a shot, I think this might be great for techno sequence plucks and bass lines.

It's great fun for techno. Check the trailer music we put together
(all sequences apart from the final melody generated by Tonebank)

  • Nice! Entonal Studio, also nice.
