How to change project tempo to original tempo of selected clip during performance?

Example: project tempo is 120, but clips previously loaded from audiofiles have own tempos like 100, 105, 75 etc. During performance, next phrase starting with new selected clip sometimes requires original clip's tempo, would be great to have function similar to "tap tempo", but with selected clip as a source...

There are 128 "Save Slots" where you can save the current tempo for later recall. The save and recall actions are under "Adjust Tempo". These can probably be used to do what you want, but the details of how to go about it depend on the details of how you would be triggering the loops and whether or not they would always adjust the tempo when they play.

  • One simple example would be to have an On Project Load action that saves the tempo to slot 1. Then for each loop's Play action add an action to explicitly set the tempo to that loop's tempo. Then add a button to restore the original tempo from slot 1 when you need it.

But that might not fit your use case.
