    Recent update to Nerd Synth gives me the same error message as Viral did in Audio Evolution Mobile Studio as mentioned in my previous post. Also no audio when freezing or exporting. Replaced Nerd with several other synths and each worked as expected. iPadOS 26.01 iPad A16

    King of VHS too. The “optimized for GarageBand” update killed the synths in GarageBand and now I have several projects I can’t do anything with

    I just submitted a fix that I’m 90% sure will solve the project issues some of you ran into. The update keeps the massive memory optimization that more than doubled headroom. I removed the lifecycle tricks that only gave a tiny extra gain.

    I had an Icarus moment. I flew a little too close to the sun. So I rolled those changes back to the stable approach from earlier versions of Viral Synth.

    TLDR you keep the big memory gains, and project save and load should feel normal again.
