JWM - Auxy Ambient

This one was swiftly built in @lenberg 's Auxy Studio. I wanted to see if I could make Ambient in Auxy, and turns out, I can! Lowest BPM Auxy can go is 60bpm, but Ambient music Youtuber "S1gns of L1fe" often uses 60bpm as his default for his Ambient works.

A lot of Auxy's sounds seem to be geared for EDM, but that also doubles for "sci-fi" Ambient. Just all depends on the BPM and whatnot.

I mastered this in Cubasis 3, of course. This time to -14LuFS.

(My previous Auxy track, a version of "¡Caramba!" by Rodriguez...

...was mastered to roughly -8LuFS, just to see if I could still do a clear master that loudly. I'd never master Ambient to such a loud level.)

    Like it, always trying to find new ways to make ambient. I've done a few tracks by lowering the bpm of some other genre...

    Thanks mate. :) Yes, Ambient is pretty easy once one wraps their head around it. My favourite BPM range for Ambient tends to sit between 50-60 bpm, although sometimes I can go lower or higher, depending on the mood and what I wish to create. :) I once created Ambient at 62bpm. I know, I sometimes like to live on the edge. 🤣

    It’s interesting to hear how the same app produces such different styles of music though.

    True! Auxy is definitely geared for beat-based music (HipHop, EDM, etc), but it's the producer that makes the music, not the tools.
