JWM - Auxy Ambient
This one was swiftly built in @lenberg 's Auxy Studio. I wanted to see if I could make Ambient in Auxy, and turns out, I can! Lowest BPM Auxy can go is 60bpm, but Ambient music Youtuber "S1gns of L1fe" often uses 60bpm as his default for his Ambient works.
A lot of Auxy's sounds seem to be geared for EDM, but that also doubles for "sci-fi" Ambient. Just all depends on the BPM and whatnot.
I mastered this in Cubasis 3, of course. This time to -14LuFS.
(My previous Auxy track, a version of "¡Caramba!" by Rodriguez...

...was mastered to roughly -8LuFS, just to see if I could still do a clear master that loudly. I'd never master Ambient to such a loud level.)
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy. Also tagging @Pierre118 in case he wishes to see how capable Auxy Studio is.

@jwmmakerofmusic Jim, this is really beautiful!
Thanks mate.
I really enjoyed making this one.
Like it, always trying to find new ways to make ambient. I've done a few tracks by lowering the bpm of some other genre...
Thanks mate.
Yes, Ambient is pretty easy once one wraps their head around it. My favourite BPM range for Ambient tends to sit between 50-60 bpm, although sometimes I can go lower or higher, depending on the mood and what I wish to create.
I once created Ambient at 62bpm. I know, I sometimes like to live on the edge. 🤣
Nice one Jim, much preferred this to the Caramba track (just my preference).
It’s interesting to hear how the same app produces such different styles of music though.
LOL! I know you're more of an Ambient head than an EDM fan. ❤️
True! Auxy is definitely geared for beat-based music (HipHop, EDM, etc), but it's the producer that makes the music, not the tools.
