Live Loops session export ignoring all volume settings issue RESOLVED
Hi,
I've created a Live Loops session in Logic, using a combination of my own audio loops, a couple of MIDI software tracks, and some Apple drum loops.
I've then triggeered and recorded the Live Loops session from the grid, into the standard Logic track area for further editing.
Once in the standard track view, I've adjusted volumes for each track. However when exporting the session as a single audio file, my volume settings have been completely ignored - doesn't matter what I do - turning off the track audio completely, adjusting individual clip gain, using audio automation - nothing has any effect on track/clip volumes.
Anyone else noticing this issue when starting with Live Loops? Or is my method of exporting the finished audio file wrong? I select all the clips, and select 'selection as audio file'.
EDIT: just pasted this into AI and it told me my method of exporting is wrong! Please ignore, fixed now!
For future reference:
"Your method of using "Export > Selection as Audio File" is likely causing the issue, as this function often creates new files using the raw, pre-fader audio without considering your track's mixer settings
For your volume adjustments and automation to be included in the final export, you must use Logic's dedicated bouncing function."
