Launching Taqsim Pro Beats in LP
I’ve been through a ton of drum plugins to find one I like for jazz - so far Pro Beats has the sound I'm after but I can’t seem to launch it from LP. Like other plugins such as DigiStix, I created a Preset for Pro Beats, but the only way I seem to get loops to start is to open Pro Beats and make my selection then go back to loopy pro and start the clock there.
Any suggestions?

I downloaded it and tried it out. If there's a way to make the plugin work like you want, I sure can't find it. There's no AUv3 parameter for launching patterns and no MIDI learn in the plugin either. I tried midi learning notes to launch patterns in the standalone. That worked, but the midi mappings didn't carry over to the plugin.
I think you're going to have to contact the developer to see if they can add midi control to the plugin. If they do that, then you could at least have a project load follow action to trigger the pad you want.
btw, that thing is full of identity / marketing trackers. If you care about your privacy, you should go into iOS settings > Privacy > Tracking and remove permissions for trackers for that app.
Good to know, thanks
@wim - I checked on both iPads Pro Beats tracking is turned off - probably because I turned off that ability.
I've reported the inability to launch Pro Beats as a bug in the AUv3 functions of the app. I've also sent an email about it. We'll see if anything happens.
