Arpbud 2 issue
Hey guys, I haven't used it in awhile and when I did I do not believe it is working correctly. Iwas wondering if someone who has Arbbud 2 could let me know if their version plays more than one note at a time? Is this a feature? I am of the understanding that Arpbud is basically an arpeggiator that allows you to set the order the notes are played per step. ie: C-E-G-B with 4 steps set 1-2-3-4 should play C-E-G-B. 3-2-4-1 should play G-E-B-C. My Arpbud is randomly playing playing 2 notes at a time at tempos 100 & above. Below 100 it is consistently playing 2 notes on every step: CE, EG, GB, CB. Has anyone else seen this or explain to me how Arpbud is supposed to work if I'm misunderstanding something? I think something is broke
. I am using AUMs keyboard with the 4 notes latched as Midi In to Arpbud and midi out to Numa Player. I have tried a regular keyboard and other apps.
Thanks

Do you have Ratched set to two ?

No. I can see the notes being sent on Numa Players keyboard and it's definitely playing 2 different notes at a time.
Ecou, based on the screenshot I'm assuming you have Arpbud? Can you simply open it, set it to 4 steps, set those steps to 1-2-3-4, leave everything else at default. Connect it to something polyphonic and set the tempo to 60. Let me know what happens?
This is happening on 3 different iPads and it doesn't make a difference whether I use Arpbud 2 or Arpbud 2 (Old). I've even tried it stand-alone. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled with no change. My hope is that if someone else can confirm there's an issue maybe Cem will take a look at it. I have reached out but I believe he may think I don't know how to use the app. I'm pretty confident I do. Thanks
I think I followed your instructions, this is what I got. If there’s a video, a midi monitor, and the routing is also shown, there’s no room for debate hehe:

Even easier here to see what’s happening. In this one I used a different app to latch a 4-note chord. Here, the AUM keyboard is not showing the latched chord, instead it’s showing the output of ArpBud 2.

It might be a buffer frame size issue. What happens if you lower your AUM frame size like 256?
Doesn't fix it
I'm pushing a new testflight version shortly!
I just released a new version, let me know if it fixed the issue, thanks!
I'm not the original poster but I've got an issue with ArpBud 2 playing 2 notes at the same time at slow BPM. The new update doesn't fix that. Tried in AUM and Cubasis 3 with the same outcome.
You'll hear sometimes notes 1+4 or 1+2 played at the same time. It seems that note 1 is briefly played right before the other note. It might be because of 0 velocity on not off, I don't know.
Two-notes polyphony is not something I would expect from an arpegiator
Thanks!
I also have an issue when using Chordbud with Arpbud. In AUM, on an Iphone 11 I set Chordbud to a simple progression (C - F) and Arpbud to play 1/8 notes of the root. Every single time Arpbud will play 9 times C and only change to F on the second 1/8th note. I have changed so many settings trying to fix this and its driving me crazy. I cant be the only one using Chordbud with Arpbud? For a while I just muted the first note, but stopped using an app that otherwise would really suit my workflow…
Could anyone point out what Im doing wrong?
